Intimate and laid-back wedding Love Letters® in the urban seaside of Katajanokka.
When Sofia and Patrick contacted me for their wedding photography I felt an instant connection with them. From that moment on I was really excited to plan their wedding Love Letters® in the urban seaside of Helsinki. It was a cloudy evening in late spring when we met in Katajanokka the day after their elopement. We had postponed the shoot from their wedding day since the weather surprised us with chilly rain. I'm glad we did because by the end of the session the clouds drifted away and we captured the last rays of the sun.
I love elopement and post-wedding shoots - as this one turned out to be - because of their laid-back and dedicated vibe. The couple can really be present in the moment for each other without distractions and schedule pressure of the wedding. They have chosen photography as a way to celebrate this important event in their lives.
The love and affection captured in these Love Letters® is beautiful and caring and shows the deep connection these two have. I also really liked their elegant but relaxed wedding look, a simple bouquet of white peonies, her wedding jumpsuit with dashing earrings and black high heel shoes and his grey suit and open collar.
